Treatment is commonly used for pain and injury, stress management, sleep concerns, headaches, digestive issues, hormonal changes, and general wellbeing. Many people also seek acupuncture to support recovery during periods of physical or emotional strain.

During your appointment, your practitioner will take the time to understand your health history, current symptoms, and overall patterns of health. Our treatments are tailored to the individual rather than focused on a single symptom, allowing your care to evolve as your body responds over time.

Acupuncture is suitable whether you are new to treatment or have experienced it before. Sessions are gentle, restorative, and designed to support lasting change through consistent care.

If you are unsure where to start, this is the most appropriate appointment to book.

Hormone Health & Fertility Support uses Chinese Medicine alongside modern clinical understanding to support hormonal regulation, menstrual health, and reproductive function. Treatment focuses on restoring balance within the body’s natural rhythms while supporting the physiological processes involved in ovulation, cycle regulation, and fertility.

Chinese Medicine views the menstrual cycle as an important indicator of overall health. Changes in cycle length, pain, mood, sleep, or energy can reflect underlying patterns that acupuncture and herbal medicine aim to regulate over time. Treatment works to support circulation, nervous system regulation, and communication within the endocrine system.

Patients commonly seek care for irregular or painful cycles, PMS, PCOS, endometriosis support, coming off hormonal contraception, preconception care, and assistance alongside IVF or assisted reproductive treatments. Care plans are individualised and adapt throughout different phases of the cycle or fertility journey.

Appointments include a detailed health discussion and treatment approach tailored to your goals, whether you are working toward conception, restoring cycle balance, or improving overall hormonal wellbeing. Our treatment are designed to support the body steadily and sustainably over time.

Chinese Medicine is a comprehensive medical system that views health through patterns of balance, relationship, and regulation within the body. Rather than focusing on isolated symptoms, our treatments take into consideration how digestion, sleep, emotions, hormones, and energy interact as part of a connected whole.

This consultation integrates traditional diagnostic methods with modern clinical understanding to identify underlying patterns contributing to your current health concerns. Treatment may include acupuncture, dietary and lifestyle guidance, and where appropriate, personalised Chinese herbal medicine prescriptions.

Chinese Medicine is commonly sought for complex or long-standing conditions, hormonal and digestive concerns, fatigue, stress-related presentations, and situations where health feels “out of balance” despite normal diagnostic test results.

Appointments allow time for a thorough discussion of your health history, constitution, and current symptoms. Treatment plans are tailored to support gradual, sustainable change as the body regains balance over time.

This service is well suited to patients seeking a deeper, holistic approach to health or ongoing care that evolves with every season of life.

Sports & Performance Acupuncture focuses on restoring movement, improving recovery, and supporting the body under physical load. Treatment combines traditional acupuncture principles with modern musculoskeletal assessment to address pain, injury, and performance limitations.

Fine needles are applied to motor points, trigger points, and areas of muscular tension to encourage muscle fasciculation, improve neuromuscular activation, and reduce protective guarding within the body. Our approach supports circulation, tissue repair, and more efficient movement patterns.

Common presentations include gym and sporting injuries, persistent muscle tightness, tendon irritation, neck and back pain, reduced mobility, and scheduled recovery between training sessions and competitions. Treatment can also support injury prevention by improving load tolerance and muscular coordination.

Appointments are assessment-driven and tailored to your activity level, whether you are a competitive athlete, recreational mover, or returning to exercise after injury. Care is focused on helping you move well, recover effectively, and return to performance with confidence.

Fire Cupping is a traditional therapy used within Chinese Medicine to promote circulation, release muscular tension, and support the body’s natural recovery processes. Glass cups are gently applied to the skin using suction, creating a lifting effect that encourages blood flow through muscles and superficial tissues.

This technique is commonly used to ease muscle tightness, reduce areas of stagnation, and support recovery from physical strain or postural stress. Many patients experience a deep sense of muscular release as the treatment helps soften restricted tissue and improve local circulation.

From a modern perspective, cupping may assist with myofascial decompression, relaxation of overactive muscles, and activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, contributing to both physical relief and overall relaxation.

Treatment is carefully tailored to individual comfort levels and may be used as a standalone therapy or alongside acupuncture as part of a broader treatment plan. Sessions are often described as grounding, deeply relaxing, and restorative.

Azzerdeen’s interest in Acupuncture was sparked at a young age when she saw how beneficial Chinese Medicine was for her mum who developed a chronic metabolic disease. After embracing her fear of needles she embarked on her Acupuncture studies through Endeavour College of Natural Health, in Melbourne.

Azzerdeen has been an Acupuncturist for the past 10 years. She has worked in a variety of remote and metropolitan clinical settings ranging from community health centres, to crisis accommodation centres, to private practice clinics.

Over the course of her practice, Azzerdeen has learnt from some of the best local and international mentors that Chinese Medicine has to offer. In her treatments, she incorporates complementary styles of distal Acupuncture with local trigger point and dry needling techniques to help restore balance, alleviate pain, and calm the nervous system.
